THE PROBLEM
The R1300GS motorcycle is shipped from the factory with a DIN socket on the right side
of the TFT display and a USB socket inside the storage cupboard on top of the fuel tank.
This original single charging port isn't convenient for riders wanting to charge their smartphones
mounted outside the storage cupboard while on the move as it is not possible to close the lid due
to the cable. Plus the output of the BMW cupboard USB socket is very low.
HERE IS THE SOLUTION
1.The DIN socket on the right side of the TFT display is replaced with our state-of-the-art FAST CHARGE dual socket charger featuring USB-A and USB-C sockets. (The original BMW USB socket in the cupboard is single USB-A and NOT fast charge)
2.The BMW OE DIN socket is then installed below the bikes seat providing a neat solution for the common use of this socket such as charging/maintaining the Lithium battery or when using heated vests and other accessories.
