Really easy to fit. Took the mudguard off my bike (4 bolts) and used the sticky pads. I also very carefully drilled holes for the rivets - use masking tape to stop the drill bit slipping.

This product is firmly attached to the mudguard of R1250R.
However, even with this product, there is not much difference in the function of the original mudguard.
I rode in the rain and got a lot of mud on the engine.

Not decided at the moment. Fits ok and does reduce the amount of crud hitting the radiator protector.
However the plastic radiator protector does a good job (designed for the purpose) by itself. In addition the BMW mudguard is fairly flimsy/flexible. The extra area created by the extender creates a fair amount of mudguard flutter/vibration. I'll leave it for the moment but not sure it was worth the effort.

I've used these previously on other bikes. I like the extra protection it offers against small road debris and dirt spraying the front of the engine.
Take your time when applying the adhesive pads and clamp in place on the front mudguard overnight to set. Works a treat and well worth the small investment.

Ordered Sat and arrived Tues. Neat but effective addition to reduce mud hitting front of engine. Does not stop all mud but is a good compromise between better protection and neat appearance. Easy to fit. The sticky pads supplied are special shapes to be able to get a great sticky contact area with inside of original mudguard.

Keeps lots of dirt etc off the radiator, down pipes and engine. That’s the reason I bought it really. Blends in really well and looks a like OEM part. Easy enough to apply, just follow the instructions carefully. Good value product.

Great piece of kit, easy to fit too. I added a few stainless screws for extra peace of mind. Had one on my old Fazer and it did a great job of keeping the grime down to a minimum.

Fits well, you do need to remove the front mudguard to fit, do not rely on the poor double sided tape, you need to drill the mudguard. Fits a treat and the coverage is excellent. Looks the part with a black mudguard and black fixings, but I would be unhappy if the guard was any other colour.

Tried fitting it without drilling the mudguard, but thought better of it. The fitting only took a few minutes and it was very simple. The mudguard is effective in reducing the amount of spray hitting the engine, but could be longer. Having said that the radiator is totally protected.
Interestingly, it is made by Pyramid Plastics....

I put on this item recently and add up few double sided tapes instead of drilling up with nuts provided because I prefer not to. It was a big mistake as the item flies off after 400km riding probably the double sided tapes are not robust enough to withstand the wind blast. I have to it again soon and this time perhaps I am going to apply a very strong super glue and pray it wouldn't fly off again.

Strong plastic that looks good. I couldnt bear to drill holes through the guard so used strong automotive double sided tape instead.

Neat, easy installation.
The original front mudguard was designed for looks rather than function and, whilst better than nothing, does very little to protect the engine block. The extender takes care of controlling some of the spray though it would have been better if longer in length.

Fitted easily, although I added my own additional double sided tape to it. I also sealed the edges with black silicone. Keeps the debris off the engine casing better.

Good value product that is easy to fit and aesthetically iunobtrusive on the bike.
Although it does provide some protection from front wheel spray and debris hitting the front of the engine cover, this is inevitably limited but better than the standard mudguard alone.

I really did not think this item would stay on long but it has survived heavy use in all conditions. Still a little short to protect the engine fully but a useful addition. I added black bathroom silicon sealant to the inside joint edge so the water would not penetrate to the sticky tape

Good fit and easy to fit now with plastic pin rivets (No screws to go rusty)I scrapped the double sided tape and fitted it with instant grab adhesive plus the supplied rivets made it a sturdy fixture. Works well with the Cymarc engine protector

This is really simple to fit and is very unobtrusive on my new RS. I coupled this with a Cymarc Crud Catcher and the two together provide near perfect protection for the front of the engine.
