Perfect trouble free assembly and fit. Heated grips aren't enough to protect cold fingers and the GS standard guards are unfortunately ineffective.

I went with the smoked tint hand guards to compliment the white and they look and preform as expected, giving more protection from the elements than the stock.
My only gripe is, the finish of the top and bottom where the moulding process leaves a line is very sharp.
In my opinion it wouldn’t take much effort from the company to have finished this off smoothly. And at over a hundred pounds for 2 bits of plastic it’s poor.

These are fabulous and a must have - if you liked the protection of the GSA style guards but with the S1000XR super performance - you must buy these - I do 120 mile round trip commute and these are game changers as BMW heated grips on S1000 are not that hot - plus these look great and the clear lens version lets you see everything

When I opened these I thought they'd look hideous on the bike, not so, they actually look OK and do a great job of shielding the hands.

As an older person, stightly compromised circulation in fingers can lead to cold hands. These hand guards are big and protect hands and lower arms from wind very effectively. For anyone who gets cold hands, these hand guards, coupled with heated grips are the answer.
