New to the Wunderlich range of BMW-specific accessories, the Adjustable Navigation Mount is designed to hold sat navs high and clear of tank-mounted bags and in full view of the rider.
The original GPS mount on the handlebar clamp of the BMW R1200R LC and R1200 RS LC often falls short when a tank bag is fitted: either fouling the bag, or holding the device too low for it to be clearly seen above it.
Wunderlich's adjustable mount supplements the standard mount, enabling the rider to move the GPS unit upwards and towards the bike's instruments, keeping it in clear view, even with a tall or expanded tank bag in place.
It also allows the rider to adjust it to the perfect viewing position – handy for shorter or taller riders, who struggle with standard mounting positions; making it easier to make quick checks on directions whilst riding; and allowing the GPS to be repositioned should sunlight be reflecting off the screen.
Both height and angle can be set quickly and easily using thumb adjusters – no tools required – and the range of adjustment is sufficient to clear most sizes of tank bag.
The Mount is made from lightweight alloy, coated for protection against corrosion, and fits to the original GPS mounting points without modification.
The Wunderlich Adjustable Navigation Mount retails at £41.00 including VAT, and is compatible with the popular Navigator IV and V systems, as well as Garmin's Zumo 660.
It fits both the 2015-on R1200R LC and R1200RS LC.
