This intake grill looks quite good once it's fitted.
One issue, however, was that my inner intake pipe (underneath the cover) doesn't protrude like in the product photographs so the fitted grill interfered with the cover once I'd clamped it back on. This means that the nozzle cover clamp doesn't close properly now the grill is on.
The second issue is that fitting the grill is unnecessarily fiddly. Both of the two 3M sponge rings supplied were too large to fit to my intake pipe, and neither actually stuck to the intake or front plate very well (once I'd managed to actually get the backing paper off the adhesive!).
The grill was also slightly too small for the aperture in the front plate so the whole thing moved around a lot when trying to fit it. After tightening the nuts, the sponge rings had to be cut off as these were loose underneath the metal grill.

Although it does look great in the pictures, in reality is a hassle to fit because there is not enough clearance between the intake cover and the margins of the grill. One alternative would be to fit the intake cover over the margins but that means that the intake cover won't clamp fully on the intake. All in all, looks good, offers some protection against big bugs, leaves etc but it won't look like in the pictures.

To be honest at £30 its a bit expensive but if you want just a little detail to make it yours it fits the bill. You need a 7mm spanner or socket which is a pain and remove the backing from the self adhesive rings before separating the ring from the disc.

Nice subtle detailing addition to the nine T. Its a little fiddly (i needed either smaller hands or an extra one!) to initiallly get on to the end of the snorkle but once there fits great and is very secure. I like wunderlich stuff but I wish they would put their logos on a little more understated like on this piece - faint laser etching.
