This actually makes the ridiculous bmw gs indicator system worse , you have to move your hand more off the throttle to indicate. Some might like it , I fitted it and removed it after a day . Waste of money for me .

Once fitted correctly (about 3 attempts) it works absolutely perfectly. I have small hands and my thumb can't reach the BMW indicator without removing my hand from the throttle, so this has made an amazing improvement to enjoying my BMW.

Absolutely useless, save yourself nearly £40 and don't bother.
It fits alright, instructions were fine. But the problem is that the orange tab on the end of the lever is nowhere near where you are supposed to apply pressure to the cancel switch. It is right on the tip of the switch, so what happens is you press on the lever with your thumb, and it doesn't do anything at all. You have to press on the lever where the actual indicator button is... which is right where you would press it normally anyway. I'm pretty disappointed as I bought it because I have a repetitive strain injury in my wrist which makes it painful to extend my thumb out to press the cancel button, so I was hoping this might alleviate the pain in my wrist.
But as it stands, it makes it impossible to cancel indicators now, so I would give it 0 stars if I could. but hey ho maybe time to embrace my inner BMW owner and not use the indicators at all?

Bought this item out of desperation because I don't have shovels for hands and I don't share BMW's logic that shifting your grip on the throttle is a safe idea to operate hand controls. It is definitely an improvement over the standard and fits easily but (not this products fault) in my eyes does not fix an inherent design flaw. Also the price is a bit steep... All that being said it does improve the situation noticeably so if you hate the indicator control then it is definitely worth a try.

I fiitted this indicator reset lever to my F650GS to give me a larger target area to reset the indicators as I was fumbling around with the stock button. This simple solution should have been standard in my view, easy to fit and easy to use.

Well made and straightforward to fit. It needs on the road testing to get the final position correctly adjusted but this is not difficult, with the right tools used to fit it. Makes cancelling these horrible indicator controls much easier especially at night in busy traffic. Its silly expensive, IMHO, for a bit of bent spring steel but does work.

After the first attempt at fitting, after a long bumpy ride it would activate the right indicator paddle each time I used it. Ensure you tighten up those torx screws and check it works before your ride.

The lever arrived quickly, the fitting was very easy although the M5x50 torxscrew need 5mmmore thread not a
problem to extend the thread, (I am a toolmaker by trade) the short M5x12 screw also had a poor torx drive in the head so I replaced with an A2 stainless cap screw. the lever needs 5 stars the screws...less. Thus the 4 stars not 5 stars.

What a clever little bit of kit!
I like the indicator on each handlebar, but I don't like the cancel switch which I never seem to be able to find without taking my eyes of the road.
This solves the problem full stop.
I did have quite a bit of a tricky time with the fitting, it looked straight forwards, but I couldn't work out which bolt went where. The long bolt that he sleeve bush screws on to wouldn't tighten all the way thorough and seemed 1/2" too long.
In the end I used one new bolt for the bush bolt and an old bolt fro the front fixing bolt. Not sure if that was correct, but it was the only way I could get it to fit.
Worth the hassle to fit though!
Just don't drop your mirror fixing bolt on to the top of your cylinder head and put a dent in one of the fins :-((

This simple lever works very well and is easy to fit. I've never been happy with BMW's indicator cancelling button and often had to have several "goes" to make contact. This got worse when I fitted a cruise control clip as it meant an even bigger stretch to reach the button. No problems now, cancels 1st time, every time. Note: make sure you note the position of the mirror clamp before you loosen it so that you can put it back at the right angle as it affects the angle of the brake lever.

This has helped a bit with the problem of not easily being able to cancel the indicators, but it's still a bit of a stretch. As fitted. it doesn't quite match the picture, so going to try and bend it into shape. Overall, worth having.

Simple bit of kit that works excellently, only problem is instructions says its to give a bigger thumb push area, the beat way to use is to hit it with your thumb knuckle, for a sight sideways movement of your wrist you can cancel indicators without it interfering with throttle movement at all.

I cannot imagine not having this fitted to my bike, without it cancelling the indicators was a hit and miss affair. There shouldn't be a need for something like this in the first place, but BMW have their own quirks.

I like the indicator being on each side of the handle bar, although a first for me. However, the location of the off switch meant I had to keep taking my eyes off the road to locate it, no more. This was easy to fit and if you cant hit it without looking you must be asleep :)

this small item certainly helps get round the awkward siting of the re-set lever. it should be noted that the spare fitting bolt(the longer one) is for use if you have the hand guards fitted.

I've seen reviews where people have said this doesn't work so well on K series bikes but I personally find it a massive improvement on the standard indicator set up as I've found it more awkward on my K12 than it was on the more upright GS. The instructions are a bit minimalist but read them a couple of times and they will make sense. I have no regrets about making the purchase.
