Easy to fit and has tidied up the rear wheel nicely. After a few years the hole in the rear axle was starting to look a bit tatty and detracts from the look of the bike so this plug from Wunderlich hides all that. It's also more than a plug with a plate on one side and a rubber crash bung on the other which gives a bit more presence to the rear end. These Wunderlich parts are never cheap but gulp and bear it for a neat improvement.

Another quality product supplied by Nippy Normans. There service is unbeatable and customer care is outstanding. I have not experienced any overheating of the shaft with the hub cover as others have eluded to. It is well made and whist pricey adds both aesthetic effect and a factor of protection against potential damage from a drop or low speed spill.

A really nice quality product that “fills a hole” and protects against damage in the event of a fall. Easy to fit and gives a neat clean finish to both sides of the rear hub. Damage prevention doesn’t come cheap but worth the investment and could be transferred in future.

Well, I had a fall only around 5mph on the left side on tarmac , my soft pannier saved a lot of damage but the plastic hub just touched the ground + the front crash at , Sooo it was off to NN to order the tornado hub protector before I did some more damage. Great looking product , very well made and very easy to fit, just the job , I did spray the hub centre with ACF before fitting , only been on for the last 260 smiles , but looks good , and I’m very pleased with the look. G

An excellent quality item, although a little pricey. It stops any dirt getting into the rear hollow axle and affords a degree of protection. It also enhances the look of the rear wheel area.
