Having seen enough positive reviews that the Wunderlich was an improvement I finally purchased my own ActivKomfort Seat. The transformation is amazing, improved comfort (for me) grippy seat as tested in a heavy braking scenario.
The 14 day return offered by NN is a real vote of confidence because I doubt anyone needs it!

I had thought long about upgrading my seat I have had my bike for 9 years and it’s always been ok but this takes comfort to a whole new level I have been riding every day since getting the seat and can’t recommend it more it really does what it says

This is certainly an improvement over the original comfort-wise, but for me it is not as good as the Sargent which I had fitted to my Mk.1

The seat looks fantastic on the bike it also feels wider and more sturdy but i found this to be a lot more comfortable than the OEM BMW seat , very happy with the purchase quite expensive but worth it for the comfort. Thanks to Nippy Normans excellent service as usual.

I had been considering the Wunderlich Seats for ages and finally ordered a set for my new R1250GS. I’m extremely pleased with the quality and fit, but most of all the comfort is much better. More support for your bum as it’s a little wider and with the rear seat in the forward position it provides support to the lower back. I can’t recommend enough, very happy!

Nice quality and have had these on the air cooled gs. The standard height front seat leaves a big gap between the Wunderlich front and rear seat I could only cure this by putting the rear part of the front seat in the high position. I e mailed photos to nippy Norman’s but no reply from them which is disappointing.

Hi, just a watch out with this seat. With the standard BMW seat I was nearly flat footed when sat on the bike. However the Wunderlich seat put me on tip toes. I think because it is slightly wider. Nippy Norman’s were great and swapped the seat for the low version - no problems. The seat seems really good quality. I have only ridden 200miles and it seems fine so far. Plan to send a review after 1000 miles. Thanks

Its a lot firmer than the standard seat which you think would be worse ,but in fact it gives a lot better support and stops you sliding into the tank. I was so pleased with it i bought a pillion one for missis.

I have spent a fortune over the years to find a comfortable seat for my GS Adventures.
Gel, custom, hand made, I've tried them all - I even got a horse-saddle maker to create one but this is definitely the best.

i did a 6,000 mile trip on the original seat and came back with coccyx problems. i do have another GSA which has a Corbyn seat on it and wish i had used that seat. so i bought this seat, and the rear and is just as comfortable as the Corbyn one. i think the big difference is with the original seats you sit 'ON' the seat. with this seat (and the Corbyn) you sit 'IN' the seat so for those like me with a bit of a tendency for back ache the sitting 'IN' option is much much better. its completely noticeable the different hip position after just 1 mile!
