Bought this bag for a 4000 mile round trip to Norway and having just returned I can safely say that it has been given a thorough test. It’s a good looking bag but with significant flaws. There are loads of dry bags on the market but I bought this one for three particular features. 1. It has metal buckles which allow the use of a cable lock to provide some rudimentary anti theft protection. This works really well and although a determined thief could just cut the bag open, it will hopefully deter casual removal attempts. 2. The bag has integrated buckles/straps to fix it to the bike. Unfortunately these are useless because they are too close to the base making it impossible to secure the bag to a seat or rack without it moving around. Easily fixed by using a couple of Rok straps instead but rather defeats the point. 3. I wanted a bag with some waterproof external pockets for quick access to small items. The pockets are indeed waterproof but, despite appearances, the zips aren’t. So they fill up with rain and don’t let a drop out. A power bank and a load of important paperwork were lost because of this. After only three weeks some of the stitching is already showing early signs of fraying so I doubt this will last very long even under light touring use. In short, do yourself a favour and buy a cheap Lomo bag for half the price instead or something more expensive. NN SATS Sorry you were disappointed – would you like to return for a refund?
