For optimum air flow to cool the engine, the water cooler is optimally positioned in the airflow of the headwind in terms of aerodynamics. Due to its exposed installation position, the filigree fins of the radiator core are equally exposed to stone chipping, foreign bodies and insects. Insects clog the radiator and reduce the cooling performance, as do fins that are bent due to stone chipping. In the worst case, leaks can occur. With a damaged cooler it is no longer possible to continue driving and impurities reduce the cooling capacity.

The Wunderlich water cooler guard is engineered to provide optimal airflow and cooling performance. The front silhouette of the radiator is covered in such a way that the direct impact of foreign bodies and insects on the sensitive radiator core is reliably reduced and avoided. It reliably protects the cooler without reducing the air flow.

The water cooler protection is also a visual highlight: the functional design is integrated into the appearance and visibly enhances it.
