The switch, which reliably switches off the ignition when the side stand is folded out, has already prevented a lot of grief. Driving off with the side stand folded out can have very unpleasant consequences for the driver and the machine. So it makes sense to properly protect the exposed switch from damage caused by falling stones or falls. If the switch is damaged, the engine will no longer start. We replace the original plastic part with a solid construction. The high protective effect results from the rigidity of the folded 2 mm aluminium sheet, which has two discreet openings milled lengthways. It frames the exposed switch with its stable two-point fastening and protects it securely. This reliably reduces the risk of damage to the switch, especially in intensive off-road use. Installation is straightforward using the easily accessible attachment points on the vehicle.
