Poor item peeled off in a matter of a few days even though the centre bar was throughly cleaned of contaminants etc

Just a sticker ... an expensive one at that. I thought it would have been much thicker and stickier to offer better protection. Can't see it lasting long.

Have used these Brace Protectors on my last three bikes. Keeps the centre stand looking like new. No better protection against paint chips.

So far, seems to be protecting the paint on the centre stand cross member - if it continues to do so it'll be a reasonably cheap solution

This protective cover fits well on the Wunderlich centre stand (also purchased from Nippy Normans). I would recommend either leaving the sticker in the sun for a while or warming it with a hair dryer before applying.
By doing this the sticker is much easier to apply.

Not a huge amount of money but expensive for a sticker - which doesn't really fit the cross-brace on a 1250RS centre stand. Yes, I know - it's meant for a blimmin' GS, like most aftermarket Beemer farkles. Well, I chopped it about to make it fit and it has stayed stuck in place despite being grit-blasted to hell during a 2500 mile UK tour. It's taken a beating so is now supplemented with a couple of turns of Gorilla tape. To be honest, I would just go with said tape - an entire roll is still cheaper than this sticker.

I have the Motech item so it wasn't the fault of the product that it didn't fit. I tried to cut it to fit but failed. I expect it works on the BMW unit

Does the job initially, but I'm not sure it'll last as it's a normal plastic sticker, not padded or thicker.

Disappointing length, was stated for my model which has a long diagonal cross member. This is quiet short compared to the length by about 30-40mm
Hopefully will stop the worst of the crud.

I have tried a number of products on this part of the centre stand but it usually gets shot blasted by what comes off the front tyre. So i have repainted the stand and applied the "centre-stand-cross-brace-protective-sticker". It goes on easy looks very clean and tidy and so far so good.

I found that warming the sticker with a hair dryer made application easier I have not ridden the bike yet because of the Lockdown, so I cannot comment on the effectiveness yet

The sticker is a good thickness and length, but this seems to make the sticker lift off slightly.

Perfect fit for centre stand for air cooled Gs model centre stand crossbrace even though not listed for this model,(may need trimming if welds are big holding crosbrace)
Had centre stand shot blasted and re-powder coated .stops further stone chips .
