Backache after an hour or so on my bike became a limiting factor to my enjoyment of motorcycling. After trying a lower seat, which was hopeless, a higher seat…….better but not good enough, I had these risers fitted by BMW, and now there is a noticeable improvement to my comfort and endurance whilst riding. And maybe the bike even handles a little better. Very pleased.

These are lovely - made my reach so much better. Put them on and now done 2500 miles (the NC500) with them - a game changer.
Nippy Norman as always advised me well and delivered swiftly. Thanks NN

Had the bike fitted with R1250S tubular bars when I first bought it. This slightly reduced the 'prone' riding position but alas proved inadequate. Thus had the 'up & back' risers installed. Following Wunderlich recommendations had BMW do the work which protected the manufacturers warranty.
- Sorted, big comfort improvement!!!
Part quality excellent as was delivery from NN's!
Not sure what the 'up & back' risers would do for wind blast if a tall rider (screen is not as efficient as that of my old GS which also ended up with 'up & back' risers)

Excellent product, works well - as others have said the fitting is easy except for the clip behind the radiator and on the inside of the frame which takes some time to release.

Great service from Nippy. The raisers were easy to fit and do a great job. They ensure I sit upright and comfortable. They are well made and come with easy to follow instructions, should you need them. Although I have to say anyone who is pretty handy could fit them without the instructions.

Work well and do exactly what they are designed for. Freeing the clutch cable was a royal nightmare and if you have the sat nav fitting and the clipped tank bag it can be very close to the tank and cause a few problems taking the bag on and off depending on the front wheel position. Much more comfortable ride though so very happy.

I was fitting these risers with a mate who immediately said that my posture was better and that I had less tension across my shoulders. Now having done about 500 miles - excellent. The up and back risers are better for me than the just up ones. I am 178cm (5'10") tall with a 79cm (31") inside leg.

Good service. Delivery quite fast. Improve handling. Direct fitment to stock riser but finishing needs improvement for those who wish to keep using the GPS cradle that become quite close to tank after the installation.

The riser works well . I find I have more control over the bike .The only drawback is that the BMW sat nav is in a less readable position .

These risers are fabulously made and are very solid. They fit perfectly and make the riding position just right for me. They came well packed and were delivered super-quick.
The only downside is that the fitting instructions are a little over-simplified. Don't get me wrong, it is still very easy to fit these risers, but you will need to release the radiator from it's mounts and fiddle about behind a frame tube to release an out-of-sight clip on the clutch hose. These aspects were not mentioned in the otherwise excellent fitting instructions.
Once you have released the radiator and found the clip (I didn't realise it was there and was wondering why the hose wouldn't move), the rest is plain sailing.
