I held off writing this review until I'd had a chance to test this seat on an extended ride. Indeed, I only bought the rider seat because my occasional pillion complained about sliding forward on the stock seat and I bought the passenger seat for her, as these seats are covered in a somewhat grippier material than stock. I then bought the rider seat to match (OCD!). I've just returned from a week's trip from my home in Wales to the Dordogne, with an overnight stop in Rouen each way. So about 7-8 hours in the saddle for each of 4 days. No pillion unfortunately, that seat was taken by an extra bag. On the return journey it was 36C most of the way in France and 27C in the UK. I was wearing a Klim Marrakesh jacket and Rokker non-waterproof jeans. Even after 5-6 hours with only one or two quick stops for petrol and loo my bum was not aching, and I suspect a big advantage of this seat over stock is that it was not sweaty either. So thumbs up so far.

I bought the driver and passenger seat they both arrived quickly on first inspection I was not to impressed as some of the rubber grommets where missing so I just swapped with my original seats . The seats felt very firm and on my first ride they were not very comfortable but after a week long trip 1500 miles the seats are really comfortable now and my wife was not sliding forward when I brake so would definitely recommend these seats

Due to lockdown Not had chance to give it a full test but so far after 2hours saddle bum was ok didnt feel i needed to get off. Like the fact the material stops you slipping around on the seat

i was very skeptical at first at changing my original seat. The ergo rider seat is a great improvement on comfort over long distances. A two week/4000 miles trip in Europe with no problems at all. I received the refund within 5 days, yet again excellent service from Nippys.
