Wunderlich sat nav relocator Trevor Cogan on Jun 14, 2024

Much better positioning of the BMW Sat nav mount from the bar mount to above the data screen where it's now in a much better line of sight. Easy fit too but I had to buy the Wunderlich screen mount as my bike never had one originally.

Wanted to raise the Sat Nav, so that it was more into the eye-line - similar to the position on a GSA. Saw this bracket and thought it would be the answer. Fitted fine on the bike, but I had not considered my height. Once the OEM Nav 5 was fitted to the bracket, I could not see the top of the instrument screen. But then, on the road, the sat nav shakes unfortunately, far too much - state of UK roads probably. Such a shame, as I hoped it might do what I wanted. But had to remove it.

Really easy to fit and a much improved higher position for the satnav. Now you don't have to take your eyes off the road to look down at the original awful positioned BMW satnav mount. Excellent service from Nippy Norman's too. Highly recommend the item and the seller.
R1250R over dash SatNav holder John on Jul 31, 2023

Having traded my 1250RS with an over dash SatNav holder, I could not go back to the SatNav being so low on the handlebars again.
I purchased the holder for the R, hoping this would be just as good.
It was a little bit fiddley to fit, as the instructions are not the best. I ended up having to also remove the headlight surround to fit all the screws when putting this all back together, but it's reasonably straight forward, just fiddley. Overall I would say it took me 30 mins to fit, but I had got all my tools out before I started, so this was a help.
Once fitted it really looks good and there was no problem with the cabling reaching the higher position.
It really does just fall to the eye very easily while riding. It is also quite stable, however on rougher roads there is some up & down vibration when in lower gears, but it is still very easy to see and focus on.
I'm very happy with this purchase and I am baffled why BMW don't fit this up here in the first place. However, I do have the small fly screen fitted, which really helps with the aesthetics. I'm not sure how this would look without the screen, so maybe this is the reason.
This was definitely a well worth while purchase and I'm very happy with it indeed.
I was going to as some pics, but I can't seem to do this. I'll ask NN if this can be done later on.
I hope this review helps. Cheers...

Purchased this as sat nav
on the handlebars drove me mad having to take my eyes off the road to read the screen. Seems well made and easy to fit, add say made of stainless steel not sure if the fixing sre if not that would spoil the kit. not had time to try out sat nav in a good place let's hope it doesn't vibrate.

I really didn’t like having the sat nav low down on the tank. This raises the position up above the TFT. It has some forward/back sliding adjustment meaning I managed to get my MRA VARIO touring screen to fit. Looks like it might make nicking the TFT a lot harder to nick.

I've used Nippy Norman's now for about 5 years. I am much reassured by their sensitivity, effectiveness, and promptness in all my emails with their staff.
In this particular case I ordered a GPS improved mount but, sadly the only one available at the time only fitted the R 1250 R model where the mounting holes are different to my bike. The system of return, and promise of an appropriate version in due course was managed extremely well, at no cost to me, and with email confirmation at all stages.
Thank you Nippy Norman's, and especially your wonderful staff.
