Main bracket is well designed and finished and the supplied fixings are good quality. Instructions are clear but over-complicated. After removing the screen, there’s no need to remove circlips and free off the arms (Ignore steps 2 and 3): the base bracket can be presented to the bike at an angle to the horizontal, and easily slides between the screen bracket and the screen arms. The problem I’ve found with the nav bracket is that the horizontal bar on the universal mount option is wider diameter tube than the threaded rod that carries it on the bracket. The bar is only held in position by the arms of the bracket being forced together by the threaded rod drawing them in. It took a bit of fettling to get this right and it wasn’t sorted by tightening as far as possible – I got mine set up by tightening the rod into the bracket securely but then not having the lock nut as tight possible. Any tighter and the bar would still rotate around the rod, resulting in my mobile phone facing down. The design needs to have either some milling on the face of the bracket and the bar to stop it slipping or better still, the bar needs to have a flange at the end that would mate with the bracket. Once sorted though, it’s stable. I have a UA phone case and ball head mount on the bar, held steady, tucked behind the screen and out of the way of the clocks. And if you’re wondering why not pay half and buy a knock off from China via Amazon, my experience was it simply didn’t work and no amount of fettling stops the bar rotating round the rod. Buy cheap, buy twice.

An excellent high level Sat.Nav. holder for R1250RS. Have tried and used a couple of other solutions for high level mounting but found them to be far inferior. Easy to fit, well made - a secure, stable mount that places my TomTom in the ideal line of sight. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ! Excellent ordering and delivery experience from NN

Easy to fit & really solid mount for the SP connect phone case, with no vibration. Position of the phone is perfect, horizontal above the TFT, great for following BMW or Google maps.

Easy fit and expected Wunderlich quality. A note on future product development - could be made out of heavier guage metal or changed to an aluminium casting as some larger than expected vibration experienced from the assembly (although that could be the "cross brace" flexing a little?) Perfect positioning between top of screen and top of TFT for Tom Tom and my head height however a larger Garmin/Navigator may be more of a compromise. Usual impeccable NN service,packaging and delivery.
