Reviews of Rider footpeg lowering - R1200RT LC, R1250RT

I am 6' 3" and these are a game changer for me. I cannot believe how just a 30mm drop can increase comfort so much, especially my knees! Very well made and a perfect fit, complete with rear brake master cylinder relocation parts. My only negative is that it's very expensive for what you get.

Another necessarily expensive purchase. Very easy to install. Do they make a difference? I am 6 foot, usually a long leg in trousers. Makes a small improvement in the knee angle. No long runs yet to report on.

Easy to fit and does improve comfort. Bit of fiddling about to get gear leaver back in best position

Well made, easy to fit, haven’t had chance to try them on a long ride yet and adjust the gear and brake levers.

Excellent quality and finish. Instructions not the best, and only makes sense once you have correctly fitted the kit. I bought the lowering kit because I have damaged my knee in a cycling accident, and it makes quite a difference not having to bend my knee at an acute angle on long journeys. as an elderly engineer, I did feel it is definately over priced. The service from Nippy Normans , is again excellent

Looks to be a high quality item but fitting instructions are a bit vague. Fortunately Wunderlich USA have an excellent video on You Tube. Not yet managed to fit the kit as a non-standard Torx t47 is needed to undo the right footrest.

The product was easy to fit, even though the instructions were a bit confusing. The pegs are only lowered by 30mm but it makes a big difference to the comfort on long rides

They work well and were easy to fit. As a retired Engineering Factory Manager I do think that they are considerably overpriced.

Works well, but ignore the fitting instructions. I don't think they're for an RT!

Very well made and fit well, only comment is that the footpegs rotate a little which is a bit disconcerting. Massive improvement on comfort.

Worked brilliantly . Stopped knee hurting after long rides , quite surprised as only drops just over 1 inc and forward half inch very pleased

As a longshanks I always need to lower the pegs for comfort on long journeys. Having just done almost 2000 miles on a trip to Devon, I can vouch that they make a significant improvement in comfort over standard. They appear well made too. Only very minor downside is they put the footrests out a bit.

Purchased rider peg lowering kit for R1200RT, found it moved pegs too far out and I couldn't get correct relationship with foot levers and they were more in the way when I put my feet down. Items returned and full refund made, no questions. Good service.

Easy to fit once one understands the confusing instructions. The brake lever and gear change adjustments are easier than is suggested by the misleading instructions. The gear lever linkage can be adjusted in situ and the brake lever is easier if the split pin is taken out. Don't forget to replace the washer with the pin.

I mounted the pieces and actually I confirm that it is much more pleasant for legs on long journeys

Good, well made. Much more relaxed riding position. Instructions for adjusting the position of gear lever and brake lever seem to relate to the previous (2013 Twin Cam Model) VERY tight fit to the original mounts on the bike. I wouldn't like to try to get them off again.
