Wanted a set of spots for my r1250 rs.. No one had reviewed these spots.. So didn't know what to expect.. but I've had many Wunderlich accessories and never been disappointed.. so thought give them ago.. spots and brackets are well made and are designed for the r1250/r1250 rs.. easy to fit/very bright with plug and play.. never bothered with the optional high beam/indicator/horn connections.. just used heat shrink tubing to isolate the 3 wires.. as just wanted to turn spots on or off.. the spots use the trigger wire from the on- board charging socket with 12 volt power via in-line fuse via battery.. so only work when ignition is on and turn off after a few minutes when ignition is turn off.. the spots are just the right size and suit the look of r1250r/ rs.. not cheap by any means but you can't fault the quality.. seem very well made and thought out.. would be a lot easier to fit the spots if the wiring harness was shorter! only time will tell if they hold up to the weather and last after time.. As always excellent fast service from Nippy Normans.. only gripe I've got is the lock tight Wunderlich supply as removed some of the shine of the top of the brackets.. I only used a small amount lock tight on the small screw's securing the top of the spot light to the bracket but some lock tight transferred on both brackets and it seems to have removed the shine around the screw's
